Hold your own Medieval Banquet

Cancionero have attended many Medieval Banquets and Medieval Fairs and we can help you organise your own medieval event.

Entertainment.

Cancionero can provide the music - two to four performers - to set the authentic atmosphere. We have an exciting array of instruments to intrigue and delight the listener. The songs can vary from elegant songs of courtly love to ballads which recount fantastic stories. If you want to include some dancing we can instruct and lead you and your guests in line and circle dances which need no previous experience!

Cancionero have seen a number of other performers in action - jugglers, jesters, falconers -so we can help you find the best if you want to expand the experience.

Food

An important part of a Medieval Banquet is the food! We can suggest suitable medieval recipes (all acceptable to the modern palette) if you want to do your own cooking or put you in touch with caterers who we know can provide you with a suitable menu.

Costs!

If you want an economy banquet on a small scale you need only hire two performers from Cancionero - these will offer story telling, songs, a range of instruments and leading dancing. The fee for a 3 hour banquet would be £360. Extra performers will cost from £150 to £200 on average.

These fees are valid in repect of:
